Queens University

In addition to learning through game experience, MPTLL has partnered with Queens University Softball for a variety of programs.  Each Fall, the Queens University team partners with our league for free of charge clinics with the Queens players and coaching staff.  Our youngest and oldest girls are on the field with young women who have played this exciting sport at the highest competitive levels.  While learning the fundamentals of the game, they also have a ton of fun learning through play and catch the high energy of the collegiate athletes.

Queens also offers individual hitting, field position and pitching instruction.  Head Coach, Melanie Helterbran offers group lessons not only sharing her own experience as Division 1 pitcher at Elon University, but also shaping young girls to develop the skills required to evolve into a highly competitive pitcher in later years.  Check out more about Coach Helterbran and Assistant Coach, Christine Roser at

Our girls also have the opportunity to attend at least one Queens University game and are featured between double header games with players leading fun activities.
