Fall Softball:

8U Fall softball team counts are fulfilled in the order of registration.  Waiting lists will be formed for registrations that occur after maximum team counts are reached.  Parents will be contacted if their daughter is placed on a waiting list. 

10U and 12U teams will be formulated based on team assessments and extra players will be placed on a waiting list in the event of a cancelation or additional registrations formulate a new team.  If the formation of an additional team is not possible, or positions do not open, the player will be refunded their registration fee in full.

Age groups are determined by a players’ age on June 30 of the playing year for the fall season. 
                If 8 years or younger on/or before 6/30 (current year) = 8U
                If 10 years or younger on/or before 6/30 (current year) = 10U
                If 13 years or younger on/or before 6/30 (current year) = 13U

If a parent desires their daughter to ‘play up’ from her actual age group, this is a request that is generally discouraged and must be approved by both the coach of the older team and the MP Softball Advisory committee.  

Approximate softball dates for the fall season are listed below:

• Team Count / Field Restrictions / Team Blackout Dates due:  August 26
• Roster’s Due:  Sept 2
• Schedules Released:  Sept 7
• Coaches Meeting:  Sept 7
• Start of Regular Season:  Sept 10
• End of Regular Season:  Oct. 18
• End of Season (EOS) Brackets Released:  Oct. 20
• Start of EOS Tournament:  Oct 22
• EOS Championship Games:  Nov 5
