MPTLL will hold player assessments for American League (Machine pitch), National League, and Major League players on Saturday, February 22nd, and Sunday, February 23rd at the Myers Park Trinity Little League field complex.
Please review the items below to make sure your player is prepared for their assessment:
Please arrive at least 20 minutes early so your child can check-in and warm up prior to their scheduled assessment time.
By rule, Little League players age 10-12 years old not already on a major league team must participate in a skills assessment to be considered for a major league team. If a player does not participate in a skills assessment then they will not be eligible for the major league draft.
T-Ball players do not have skills assessments. The T-Ball coordinator will assign players to teams based on parent requests made during registration. T-Ball parents will hear from their coaches the first week of March.
Coach pitch players are scheduled for thier skills assessment on Saturday, February 29th. Coach pitch parents can review the attached MPTLL Assessment Report to check when their player is scheduled for their assessment.
Please watch your email closely for information about possible schedule changes due to weather conditions. If changes are required we will email parents and update our social media accounts (facebook, twitter, instagram).
